Dénia, Spain

Malaysian flavours. Every big match. One table in Dénia.

Aisah cooks the way she learned at home in Johor — rendang, satay and curries made from scratch, every single day. Gavin keeps the screens on for football, F1 and rugby, so you've got somewhere good to watch the match and somewhere even better to eat.

Our Story

From Johor to Dénia

I'm Aisah. I grew up in Johor, Malaysia, cooking alongside my mother and my grandmother — rendang that simmers all afternoon, satay marinated overnight, sambal ground by hand. Those recipes are still what I cook today, exactly as I learned them.

I'm Gavin — English, and hopeless in the kitchen, but very good at finding a football match. We met, moved to Dénia, and figured out that a proper Malaysian kitchen and a proper sports bar could sit under one roof. That's Casa Rasa.

We wanted a place where you can get a curry that actually tastes like Malaysia, and still catch kick-off. So that's what we built.
